Southall Food Distribution Service

In order to support the needs of some of the most vulnerable groups in our area, The Young Ealing Foundation and Southall Community Alliance are setting up a food distribution service to serve Southall during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This follows on from the successful service that has been set up by Bollo Brook Youth Club in Acton.
Donations from The Felix Project and City Harvest, supplemented by fresh food from local suppliers will be distributed to groups who are struggling to get out to shop due to Covid-19.

We need the support of our members and partners in several ways:

Refer: We are seeking referrals from professionals and from within the community of households that need this service. Please find the referral form here.

Volunteer: we need a limited number of volunteers to act as food packers and delivery drivers. Please read volunteer guidance here.

Donate: any money donated will cover the costs of the food distribution service, including PPE for volunteers, fresh food for parcels, and volunteer expense.

Please send volunteer information, referral forms and any questions to

Kind Regards,

Elly Heaton-Virgo
Chief Executive Officer
