I am delighted and honoured to be the headteacher of a school where the children are at the heart of every decision made, and where each individual is valued and celebrated. On behalf of the staff, governors and the children of John Perryn Primary School, I would like to warmly welcome you to our website and to thank you for taking an interest in our fantastic and vibrant school community.

Our ethos ‘The John Perryn Way’ encompass the values and motto of ‘aiming high to achieve success in all that we do’. These values are at the heart of the school and contribute to the shared goal of ensuring that our children move on to the next stage of their journey as respectful, kind, responsible and caring members of the community.

As a community, we share the responsibility of ensuring that every child is safe and happy. We understand and value the importance of communication and partnerships between home and school, and we want John Perryn to be at the very heart of the local community with everyone working together effectively to achieve this.

We have a magnificent school building with extensive grounds and fantastic facilities with many recently developed outdoor areas for the children to enjoy. If you are considering sending your child to our wonderful school, please do contact the school office so that we can arrange a visit for you. If you choose our school for your children, I promise that we will work together to ensure that they are provided with exceptional care and with the opportunities to become the very best versions of themselves.

I am excited to be leading the school into the next stage of its journey, where we will have the highest aspirations for every child. The school has seen much change over recent years and now is the time for stability. My vision for John Perryn’s future is that of a happy, effective and collaborative school, where everybody looks forward to attending every day and where everyone feels welcome and valued.
